Kaiafas Springs Thermal Water

The thermal water gushes from the Cave of the Nymphs at a temperature ranging from 31°C to 34°C and is ideal for modern hydrotherapy. The therapeutic water is suitable for rheumatic diseases, joint disorders, gynecological conditions, and dermatological issues.

PROPERTIES
The natural thermal spring of Kaiafa originates from two sources:

The “Geranium Kaiafa” spring, recognized as a natural thermal spring for balneotherapy, expected to include inhalation therapy, nasal irrigation, and potable therapy.

The “Geothermal G3 Kaiafa” spring, recognized as a natural thermal spring, with a temperature of 31°C. The natural spring is characterized as: hypothermal, saline, hypertonic, medicinal, chlorinated, moderately sulfuric, carbonated, metallic.

Recommended for balneotherapy, with therapeutic properties including: chronic rheumatic diseases, arthritis, myositis, chronic degenerative consequences of injuries, neuralgia, and dermatological conditions.

INGREDIENTS
The thermal water of the Hydrotherapy Center is characterized as hypothermal, hydrothionic, chlorinated sodium, and neutral pH.
Hypothermal – Na+, Cl-, SO4 2-, Ca2+, K+, SiO2, Sr2+, F-, B – moderately sulfuric, chlorinated sodium – hypertonic.
Medicinal source. Based on available chemical analyses, the water content of the medicinal spring confirms that it is suitable for balneotherapy treatments.
THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
Addressing chronic rheumatic diseases, arthritis, myositis, chronic degenerative consequences of injuries, neuralgia, dermatological conditions, atypical gynecological conditions.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
The spring water is contraindicated for systemic, communicable, and malignant diseases, hepatic and renal insufficiency, cardiac diseases, lower limb edema, coronary artery disease, cerebral vascular hemorrhages or vessel thrombosis, malignant neoplasms, nervous and mental disorders, active tuberculosis, diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, allergies and mycoses, pathological conditions burdened with fever, anemia, weight loss, bleeding. Arterial hypertension and malignant arterial hypertension, nephropathy, hepatopathy, dermatological conditions that contraindicate the use of thermal-metallurgical waters, and pregnancy after the sixth month.
