Showers are applied to the body for a certain period using thermomineral water of varying temperatures, with high or low pressure, depending on the condition being treated. Warm showers last 2-3 minutes, while very hot showers last 30-60 seconds. Generally, the duration of a shower depends on the water temperature, its form, the method of application, and the existing condition. For rheumatic conditions, only warm and very hot showers are used, which are stimulating when short and soothing when prolonged.
